It was cloudy and a bit rainy during my trip to Yosemite and Bodie. I'll go back in the future and take more photos. The stars are usually bright against the dark sky in the high mountains, but I couldn't see them or even the mostly full moon because of the clouds. So far my tests show the LS911 not doing well with star photos but I'll test again when I go to the mountains.
